The New Harmony Inn, Resort and Conference Center was designed to embody the history of New Harmony by integrating the quiet simplicity of the original Harmonists, the utopian dreams of the Owenites, and the art and culture of present day New Harmony. Artistic Surroundings
The Inn’s two buildings house a total of 90 rooms, all of which feature solid wood furnishings, beautiful furnishings and art collected by Jane Owen. Premium rooms may include a fireplace, a balcony, or a walk-out patio to the Cloister Garden, which features a small hedge labyrinth and a sculpture by celebrated American sculptor Stephen De Staebler.

Activities
Behind the inn is an ample lawn, a beautiful lake with swans and ducks, a scenic bridge across a creak, Our Lord’s Woods, trails and the Chapel of the Little Portion, also designed by Stephen de Staebler. There’s an area for badminton or volleyball, a tree swing, a giant chair, and a big box of toys that includes a giant, lawn chess set. There’s also a beautiful glass enclosed pool that’s suitable for lap swimming, water aerobics, just relaxing or playing with the kids along with a spacious Jacuzzi. Inside, guests can enjoy a fitness center and dry sauna with healing rocks. Tennis courts are nearby.

The New Harmony Inn, Resort and Conference Center is a favorite spot for weddings, conferences and other large events. With the Inn’s mix of natural beauty, fine dining, fine art, culture, history, unique rooms, and large spaces, it can handle any sized gathering. The Inn offers full service planning, working with trusted and established local businesses to ensure the best of everything for that special event.

The conference center can accommodate up to 400 people for a stand-up event and seat 300 for a dinner or conference and several smaller rooms are available for break-outs or smaller meetings. The Conference Center offers high speed wireless internet and first rate A/V equipment as well.

A large tent on the back lawn is perfect for outdoor gatherings.

Three guest houses – the Orchard House, Duclos House and 1840 Garden House – offering one to four bedrooms are also available.
