Wabash River Picnic Area
The Wabash River park within Harmonie State Park is one of the nicest spots to enjoy the Wabash.
There is a short, quarter mile walk to the boat ramp along the river’s steep bak.
It’s a great place to watch the sun set, which is often spectacular, over the Wabash. Ribeyre Island is visible upriver.
It’s also one of the nicer picnic spots, with several picnic tables and a nice modern playground.
You can fish from the bank. It’s not unusual to haul in a 30+ pound Catfish.
