Tri-State Tornado 100th Anniversary Remembrance

On March 18th, 1925, a deadly tornado swept through three states, leaving massive destruction behind it. To honor the 100th anniversary of the Tri-State Tornado, Angela Mason, author of ‘Death Rides the Sky,’ will give a presentation at the Ribeyre Gymnasium from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Jeff Lyons, meteorologist from Channel 14 News, will broadcast the weather live from the gymnasium starting at 4:00 p.m. and give a presentation on the weather conditions required to produce such a storm at 6:00 p.m. Refreshments will be offered to attendees. To fund the remembrance, a paranormal investigation will be held from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., offering love and comfort to those who perished and allowing them to tell their stories.
