Paddling Posey County

Relax and enjoy a float trip down the Wabash River. Starting at Harmonie State Park and ending at Dogtown Ferry boat ramp, this 10.5 mile excursion will include an educational stop plus lunch at the completion. Participants may bring their own equipment or rent canoes, paddles and life vests.

Registration starts at 7:30 AM. Launch is scheduled for 8 AM. Trip should take 4 – 5 hours. A Shuttle will take participants back to Harmonie State Park..

Cost is $10/person. Canoe rental is $25 if needed.
