All Afternoon EXPERIENCE
Check out the New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art’s new exhibit, “Play”! The exhibition provides an excellent sample of contemporary artists interpreting the theme of play and features a variety of media including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture and video. The lineup showcases a range of artists from student to professional, including several USI students, alumni, and faculty. Absolutely something for everyone!
10:30am CELEBRATE
The Mews (531 Main Street) launches into the holiday season by presenting one of our favorite events of the year, “Christmas at The Mews”. This year, the theme is “Festive Forest”. Join them for wine tasting from 10:30am to 3:30pm and holiday brunch from 11am to 1pm. This is a free event.
1pm SHOP
The New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art (506 Main Street) and Mason-Nordgauer Fine Arts (510 Main Street) are collaborating to bring exceptional artists and vendors to the green space at Main and Church Streets.
2pm CREATE AND TASTE
One of our newest shops, Capers (602 Main Street), welcomes guests from 2-4pm to create your own cookie masterpiece in their gourmet kitchen!
6pm MEET AND GREET
Join the crowd at Mason-Nordgauer Fine Arts for an artist talk with the extraordinarily talented, Heather Gray from Evansville Living. This is a free event.
7pm SOCIALIZE
Wrap up the day with an “After Art Party” at Mason-Nordgauer Fine Arts… dance and enjoy wine / beer and seasonal treats with great art and artists! This is a free event, but 21+ only please.
7pm SCREAM
Haunted New Harmony will be hosting a 90-minute Ghost Walk around New Harmony’s moonlit streets from 7-8:30pm on Saturday, November 10th. Learn about the history and the hauntings of this unique town from the author of Haunted New Harmony. Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased online at HauntedNewHarmony.com, Antiques Emporium (525 Church Street) or at the event. Dress warmly because we will be outdoors for the entirety of the walk.
