Historic New Harmony September Events

September has arrived and we’re looking forward to a full calendar of tours, programs, and events in the month ahead!
A few things to note on this calendar:
– All tours listed start at the Atheneum Visitors Center. Tickets can be purchased at the Atheneum or by calling 812-682-4474.
– Monday, September 2: Historic New Harmony’s administrative office is closed for the Labor Day holiday.
– Tuesday, September 10th: University of Southern Indiana is bringing its entire freshman class to New Harmony. No public tours are scheduled for that day.
– Thursday, September 19th: The next free Talking History gathering is happening at 10 a.m. at the Schnee-Ribeyre-Elliott House. The theme for this month is “New Harmony, Then and Now.” Open to everyone. Come for the discussion and be prepared to learn something new!
– Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22 is Kunstfest in New Harmony. No public tours are scheduled for those days.
– Friday, September 27: Historic New Harmony’s administrative office is closed for a professional development day.
