Christmas in New Harmony

SAVE THE DATE for a Hallmark kind of Christmas, in a Hallmark kind of town! The first weekend in December, New Harmony comes alive with Christmas spirit and a full slate of activities designed to delight young and old alike.

 Schedule of Events – Dec. 3, 4 and 5, 2021

Friday, December 3^3h   5:30 pm – Traditional Christmas Tree Lighting and Music – FREE at The New Harmony Inn Entry House

 Friday December 3^rd   7:30 pm – “The Children’s Nutcracker’” presented by The Children’s Center for Dance Education at the Thralls Opera House.  Tickets available at the door.

 Saturday, December 4^th    8 – 10 am – Breakfast w/ Santa – Adults $5, Children $3, Age 4 and under FREE, Holy Angels Catholic Community Center

Saturday, December 4^th   10:30 am – Christmas Parade, starts at Main & Steammill Streets

1^st Prize – $100, 2^nd Prize – $50  Entry Applications available at the Old Mill Mart, 1128 E. Church St.

Saturday December 4^th 10 am – 4 pm, Candy Land at the Working Men’s Institute, 407 Tavern St. Enjoy games and activities for kids of all ages –  FREE

Visit with Santa from 11 AM – 2 PM on Saturday

Saturday, December 4^th   2:00 pm   Pet Parade with prizes for Best Costume, Most Unique and Most Festive! 407 Tavern. Pet pictures with Santa immediately following. Sign up starts at 1:30

Saturday, December 4^th    4 – 6 pm   Reception for ‘Filled up 2: A Ceramic Cup Show’, New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art presented by the New Harmony Clay Project

Saturday, December 4^4h 5:30 pm   Lighted Golf Cart Parade through town. Line up at Roofless Church

Saturday, December 4^{t h}   7:30 pm – A ‘Holiday Jazz Concert’ by the Wolfgang Jazz Ensemble.  Tickets available at the door. Adults $10   Children 12 and under $5

Sunday, December 5^th   10 am – 4 pm – Holiday House Tour, sponsored by William Wilson Auction – Realty. Tickets $20 and available throughout the weekend at the Information booth in Community House #2, 410 Main St.

Saturday and Sunday December 4^th & 5^th    Sat. -11:30 – 6 PM, Sun. 12 – 4 PM; Horse and Wagon Rides beside Community House #2  410 Main St.

Saturday and Sunday, December 4^th and 5^th   Sat., 9 am – 5 pm, Sun., 10 – 4PM; Christmas Vendors in Ribeyre Gymnasium and Community House #2

 Friday, December 3^rd  – Dec. 19  ending at 5 PM – Gnome Scavenger Hunt; 10 precocious gnomes hidden within plain site for you to find!  Great family entertainment!
