Beginner Bowfishing Day

Hovey Lake Fish & Wildlife Area is hosting a Beginner Bowfishing Day on July 30th.  This event is proudly sponsored by Pokaho Bowfishing Team.

This event is designed to teach Children (9-12 years old) how to Bowfish, safe bow handling, and shooting techniques.  Participates will have the opportunity to shoot bows on land  then end the morning with a trip on the water to put there new skills to use under the supervision of trained instructors.  This event is FREE of charge and lunch will be provided at 12:00 p.m.  Bows will be available for use.
