New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art is dedicated to enhancing the experiences of students through BG Projects, an artist-run exhibition space in the back gallery. BG Projects allows students to exhibit, experiment, and/or curate within a working contemporary art gallery setting. Through exhibition and curatorial strategies, students can envision new possibilities for collaborations and their art practice.
USI students are invited to submit exhibition proposals to the NHGCA BG Projects. Emphasizing curatorial experimentation, students are encouraged to think outside the box about what an art exhibition can be. Installation, media art, proposals that involve artists outside USI, and more are all encouraged.
HOURS: Tuesdays–Saturdays 10 am–5 pm
