Sara’s is located in the center of New Harmony, Indiana, housed in a building built in 1910. It’s the gathering point for locals and visitors alike. Cozy sitting areas are scattered around, all close to the bar that serves your favorite wines and beers.

Sara has been choosing special and select wines to meet everyone’s likes.  We host wine tastings and co-host wine pairing dinners with the adjacent restaurant, Say’s.  Sara’s serves some of our favorite wines by the glass and a wide variety of wines available for sale, by the bottle, from California to Portugal to Italy.

Sara’s showcases beers from around Indiana.  Breweries include Upland (Indianapolis), Terre Haute Brewing, and Great Crescent (Aurora) to name a few.  Our craft beers include Wango Tango, Nap in a Hammock, and Hoosier Game Day.  We carry top shelf beers like Duvel, Hoegaarden, Hacker Pschorr and Pilsner Urquell along with your favorite domestics and ciders.  Besides the Great Crescent Brewery, Sara’s is the only other establishment that serves Harmonie Bier on tap.  Harmonie Dark Lager is “Indiana’s First Beer” and the recipe is based on a recipe of the first commercially brewed beer in the state of Indiana.

When the weather is good, the patio is open.  Sara’s has seating where you can cozy up by the fire pit on chilly days or sit in the shade under our umbrellas in the summer.  You can sit anywhere in the building and enjoy the drink of your choice and delicious food from Say’s.

Throughout the year we also have local musicians playing our favorite songs.  You never know when you may have an opportunity to join them and sing along.

Sara’s and Say’s are available for your private parties.  Do you need a place for your guests to take a break between your wedding and reception?  Have a shower or club luncheon/dinner to host?  Maybe you just need a place to take a break after shopping at your favorite New Harmony stores.  Sara’s and Say’s can meet your needs.
