Beginner Bowfishing Day

Hovey Lake Fish & Wildlife Area will be hosting a Beginner Bowfishing Day on August 5th. This event is proudly sponsored by Team Pokaho Bowfishing.
August 5th: 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
This event is designed to teach Anyone the basic of how to bowfish. Participates will start by learning the basics of bowfishing, then work on shooting techniques and safe bow handling on land. The event will end with a trip on the water with Team Pokaho Bowfishing to test their new skills under the supervision of trained instructors. This event is FREE of charge and lunch will be provided at 12:30 p.m. Bows will be available for use.
