Harmonie State Park – Astounding Natural Woodlands
Harmonie State Park is a place of deep ravines, towering trees, abundant wildlife, and modern campground amenities including water and electric, cabins for rent, hiking, biking, mountain biking and horse trails; a nature center for kids, a swimming pool, numerous playgrounds, picnic areas, pond and bank fishing, and a boat ramp on the Wabash.
“Harmonie State Park, as well as the rest of Posey County, is situated in a unique geographic location,” says Amelia Wildeman, the park’s interpretive naturalist. “It’s the northernmost region for some plants and animals and southernmost region for others. You find things here that you won’t find anywhere else in Indiana.”
